Expression in the Meadow

As the snow from the mountains melt, it slips down the slopes and collects in Wax Drip Pond for the spring season. Though the runoff is chilly, it's just the kind of wake-up call Express finds appealing as he comes out of his cold winter hibernation. His coat is already looking pretty slick! I can't wait for summer when I can get his copper butt back into the show ring.
