Check is the foundation stallion for CandleWick Equine Facility. The stable owner, Ashley Embark, bred him from a local brood mare while the sire is a well established KWPN overseas. This big beautiful boy was the result of that combination. While his dad excelled in the dressage world, his mom had spunk that would transition into good jumping ability. He embodies the willing and determined personality the stable tries to achieve with every horse and inspires the capability to perform any discipline, no matter the breed. Check is markless and is often elusive in the pasture to handlers trying to bring him in for stabling at night. He is not skittish and loves attention. He is versatile to riders, but forms relationships to ones who ride him most often. He has quirks with people touching his ears, but can be persuaded with the offer of a peppermint or two.
